His career reflects a deep commitment to working with local communities to create lasting solutions. "For me, conservation has always been about people as much as nature," he says. "Building partnerships and sharing knowledge unlock the solutions we need to tackle our biggest challenges. Joining EcoLogic is an amazing chance to collaborate with local experts and leaders who work to empower rural and Indigenous communities and support innovative, community-driven conservation activities. I'm excited to contribute to the organization's growth, strengthen its impact, and create tangible changes at the community level."
Diego joins a team of leaders on our Board who are united in their commitment to empowering local communities with the tools to protect their ecosystems and forests. Barbara Vallarino, EcoLogic's Executive Director, comments: "We're incredibly excited to have Diego on our Board and start working with him to advance our mission."
