For 30 years, EcoLogic Development Fund has been working to protect precious ecosystems and empower communities in Mexico and Central America. We will celebrate this milestone on October 19th at 6:00 pm EDT with a virtual event you don't want to miss.
The event will feature a panel discussion moderated by Jessica Brown, Executive Director of the New England Biolabs Foundation. The panelists will discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the rural and Indigenous communities and how we can all work together to create a more sustainable future.
Following the panel discussion, there will be a keynote speech by Jamison Ervin, UNDP's Global Nature for Development Program manager. Jamison will discuss the importance of sustainable development and how EcoLogic is working to make a difference. She will also highlight how EcoLogic’s ability to forge collaborative impact across sectors and borders creates exponentiated impact by bringing communities together for a shared vision of sustainability.
We will also feature a special performance by Sara Curruchich. Experience the impactful melodies of the first Indigenous Guatemalan singer and songwriter to sing in Kaqchikel and Spanish, as she sends a personal performance of her song 'Somos' for our event. Her voice and message of love, awareness, respect, and defense of life in all its forms, have led many people to regard her as a beacon of light and hope.
Our silent auction will feature unique and eco-friendly experiences, artwork, and sustainable products. By participating in the auction, you can help support EcoLogic's work and make a difference for the planet.
The 30th Anniversary Virtual Event is a great opportunity to learn more about EcoLogic's work, hear from inspiring speakers, and connect with other people passionate about sustainability.
